Orientations is an exhibition dedicated to the idea of points of references in time and space through the concepts of memory, codes and absence. The works wonder about the personal and collective perception of time. Their dialogue emerges through the overlapping of feelings, duration and signs.
Our idea of time is very codified and scientifically restricted to some codes and systems that become visible in common objects like calendars and watches. Time is measured and captured following rules and concepts commonly shared, but its perception can be something really personal and subjective, linked to our experience, feelings, mind and memory.
Time seems to be very related to movement. We could say that time is movement, because right when everything stops, time seems not to exist anymore. The perception of the movement in the space is a process connected to the mind that reconstructs its routes, variations and gaps. When everything is just alive.

Die Ausstellung Orientations widmet sich der Idee von Bezugspunkten in Zeit und Raum anhand der Untersuchung der Begriffe Erinnerung, Codes und Abwesenheit. Die Arbeiten fragen nach der persönlichen und kollektiven Wahrnehmung von Zeit. Ihr Dialog entwickelt sich aus der Überschneidung von Empfindungen, Dauer und Zeichen.
Unsere Idee der Zeit ist sehr kodifiziert und wissenschaftlich beschränkt auf einige Codes und Systeme, die in alltäglichen Objekten wie Kalendern und Uhren sichtbar werden. Zeit wird mittels allgemein geteilter Regeln und Begriffe gemessen und erfasst, ihre Wahrnehmung kann jedoch sehr persönlich und abhängig von unseren subjektiven Erfahrungen, Gefühlen, Gedanken und Erinnerungen sein.
Zeit scheint eng mit Bewegung verbunden zu sein. Wir könnten sogar sagen, dass Zeit Bewegung ist, da Stillstand die Abwesenheit von Zeit zu sein scheint. Die Wahrnehmung von Bewegung im Raum ist ein gedanklicher Prozess, der seine Routen, Variationen und Leerstellen rekonstruiert. Während alles einfach lebendig ist.
